Whitney Zack and Catalina Zhao

Whitney Zack is a Director of Engineering at Rippling. Raised in the woodlands of New York, prior to Rippling, he studied organizational strategies, distributed systems, and people management at Reddit. In 2022, Whitney joined Rippling to tackle complex organizational challenges of incubating startups. Outside of work, he’s builds secret rooms in homes, competes in video games, and brews his own beer. Catalina Zhao is on the Business Operations team at Rippling, where she works on a variety of high-priority initiatives for senior leadership across the company. She joined Rippling in 2025, and her prior experience spans operating at, investing in, and advising high-growth tech startups.
